Childbirth, menopause, aging, and cancer treatments can all contribute to vaginal laxity. This laxity not only leads to irritation and bladder leakage but can also result in a decrease of sexual enjoyment for both you and your partner. At Careage Plastic Surgery, we offer a non-invasive vaginal rejuvenation treatment that helps you restore elasticity and lubrication to the vagina as well as tighten the ligaments around the urethra and bladder that control urinary leakage.
RejuVAnate Laser Treatments Can Correct:
- Vaginal dryness
- Vaginal laxity
- Painful intercourse
- Recurring infections
- Involuntary bladder leakage
Women who have experienced some degree of vaginal dryness or vaginal laxity are ideal candidates. Women should have a pelvic exam as well as a normal Pap smear within six months prior to treatment.
Our CO₂ vaginal rejuvenation treatment penetrates the sub-dermal layers of the skin, stimulating the production of collagen and cell growth. Treatments involve a series of three lasers that last less than five minutes. This treatment should be repeated every six weeks for optimal results.
This treatment is minimally invasive, and patients can resume their daily routine immediately after treatment. Vaginal rest is recommended for three days, where patients should refrain from sexual activity or wearing tampons. ABPS board-certified plastic surgeons Dr. Careaga or Dr. Durand will discuss what to expect with your recovery during your consultation.
Our CO₂ vaginal rejuvenation treatment restores lubrication and elasticity inside the vagina. Some results will be noticed immediately; however, it may take up to a month for the full results to show.
