Is There a Plastic Surgery Solution for Cellulite?

Posted November 04, 2020 in Cellulite Treatment

2 Minute Read:

Cellulite is a condition that affects almost 90 percent of women and 10 percent of men. While cellulite has no dangerous health side effects, it can impact a person’s self-esteem. There are many mean names out there for cellulite, such as “cottage cheese” and “hail damage,” all of which can cause you to feel bad about having cellulite.

And, sadly, cellulite can happen to anyone. Even thin and fit people can get cellulite and then can’t seem to get rid of it.

This is because—despite some of the confusion out there—cellulite isn’t related to fat. Cellulite is the result of connective tissue bands under the skin that surround fat cells. While the exact cause of cellulite is often unclear, some possible factors include hormonal changes, genetics, diet, and lifestyle.

So, once you have cellulite, do you have to live with it forever?

Luckily, the answer is no.

What Can Be Done to Reduce Cellulite?

With advances in medical technology, it’s no surprise that now there is a plastic surgery treatment for cellulite. Careaga Plastic Surgery Center is proud to offer an advanced laser-assisted anti-cellulite treatment that has fantastic results!

What Is Cellulaze™?

Cellulaze™ is an anti-cellulite treatment that is clinically proven to increase your skin’s natural thickness for a smoother, healthier look that lasts. It’s important to understand that there are other plastic surgery treatments out there for cellulite, but many of these highly promoted anti-cellulite treatments focus on cellulite superficially. Only Cellulaze™ treats (by severing) the fibrous bands beneath the skin while also thickening and adding elasticity to the skin.

With just one treatment, you will see noticeable results with improvements lasting three to12 months.

What Is Recovery From Cellulaze™ Like?

Cellulaze™ treatments typically involve local anesthesia, so the patient is comfortable and safe during the procedure. After the treatment, the patient may feel some aches, similar to finishing an intense workout. Patients may need to wear a compression garment for up to two weeks after the procedure.

What Results Can I See From Cellulaze™?

Cellulaze™ is an effective cellulite treatment with long-lasting results. Patients can expect to see an increase in their skin thickness by 25 percent and their skin elasticity by 29 percent. Touch-up treatments will ensure your cellulite is never visible again.
