Education and Training
Dr. Eduardo Careaga’s medical education reflects his lifelong commitment to surgical excellence and comprehensive patient care. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from UMDNJ–Robert Wood Johnson Medical School after completing his Bachelor of Science with Honors at Florida International University. Dr. Careaga then went on to complete his General Surgery Internship and Residency at UMDNJ–Cooper University Hospital, where he later served as Chief Resident, a role he earned due to his meticulous clinical skills and outstanding leadership abilities. To further advance his surgical education, he completed a prestigious Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Bryn Mawr Hospital. This extensive training across academic medical centers provided Dr. Careaga with a strong foundation in complex surgical techniques, sound decision-making, and patient-centered care—principles that continue to guide him as a cosmetic surgeon today.

Dr. Careaga specializes in advanced body contouring procedures designed to sculpt and enhance your natural proportions. His expertise includes Lipo360 and precision liposuction of complex areas (including the arms, thighs, and chin) as well as skin tightening with Renuvion®.
