Meet Dr. Rafael Ramos, MD

After graduating as valedictorian with his Bachelor of Science degree from Tirso de Molina College in Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Rafa Ramos began his quest to become a skilled and distinguished plastic surgeon. He received his Medical Doctor degree from the Central University of Venezuela School of Medicine in Caracas, followed by his General Surgery and Trauma degree at the largest trauma center of the Capital.

In 2014, Dr. Ramos came to the United States, where he completed 2 years of clinical research in bariatric surgery at Cleveland Clinic in Weston, FL and the University of Iowa. He continued his training in the Department of Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for 2 years before he was accepted at the prestigious Integrated Plastic Surgery program at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland, OH. Here he received top quality training in both Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Drawn by his roots and a deep connection to his origins, Dr. Ramos returned to Miami to share his expertise and passion for aesthetic surgery with the community that first inspired his journey.
